Allegations Against Karnataka's Congress Government

On Thursday, Union Minister Prahlad Joshi accused the Congress government in Karnataka of operating under the influence of a 'toolkit' regarding serious allegations of murder and sexual assault against women in Dharmasthala over the past two decades.

Joshi called for a court-monitored investigation into the matter. The senior BJP leader stated, "The Karnataka Congress government has acted without thought, undermining the faith and devotion of people towards various Hindu pilgrimage sites under the influence of a toolkit. This is a completely orchestrated effort."

The controversy erupted when a complainant, later identified as C.N. Chinnaiya, who was arrested for providing false testimony, alleged that numerous bodies, including those of women showing signs of sexual abuse, had been buried in Dharmasthala over the last twenty years.
